Before you send anything
Why do you not do estimate visits?
Because they cost money that ends up in the price, and they take an afternoon of your time. We focus on work that can be understood from a plain-language description and confirmed from photographs.
When do I pay?
Nothing is charged when you request a time or submit photos. After the scope is approved, a 25% confirmation deposit is required to lock the appointment. The deposit is credited against the agreed total and the remaining balance is due after completion.
Do I need an account?
No. Guest checkout gives you a private job-status and photo-upload link. If you opt into a Home Passport, we also save jobs, payments, completion evidence and guarantees against your property and email you a passwordless sign-in link.
What if my photos show something different?
We show what changed and ask you to approve the next step. If the work falls outside Fixed Home’s safe scope, we release the hold instead of sending the wrong person or changing the price at your door.
Who actually turns up?
A vetted, insured Fixed Home technician working to our scope, materials list and finish standard. You deal with Fixed Home from booking through the workmanship guarantee.
How do I check service availability?
Enter your postal code on the homepage or during booking and we will confirm immediately. Current booking areas include Barrhaven, Kanata, Orléans, Nepean, Westboro, Hintonburg; requests outside the live area help shape where coverage expands next.
