Workmanship guarantee
The Fixed Home Promise
If our workmanship fails within 12 months, we come back and put it right at no charge.
One company is accountable
Your agreement is with Fixed Home. If something needs fixing you contact us, not the individual who did the work, and we arrange the return visit.
The price is settled before anyone arrives
We confirm the scope from your photos and lock the total in writing. No technician raises the price at your door.
Every subcontractor is vetted
Licence and insurance checked, references taken, and held to our scope and finish standard on every job they accept.
We decline work we cannot do well
If your photos show a job outside our fixed-price scope we say so and step away, rather than starting something we cannot finish properly.
What it does not cover
The honest limits
A guarantee is only worth something if it is specific. Here is where ours stops.
- Normal wear, new damage or anything caused after we left.
- Problems from an underlying fault we flagged and you asked us to work around anyway.
- Colour and sheen differences where finish paint was not part of the package.
- Materials you supplied that were not rated for the job.
OUR COMMITMENTS
What it looks like in practice
The published price is the price
Once your photos are approved, the total is fixed in writing. If the job turns out to be bigger than the photos showed, we tell you before the appointment and you can walk away at no cost.
A three-hour window, not a whole day
You pick the arrival window when you book. We do not ask you to keep a day free and we do not send anyone to your home to quote.
We turn down work that does not fit
If your photos show something outside our fixed-price scope, we say so and point you elsewhere. We would rather lose the booking than start a job we cannot finish properly.
