Eligibility and exclusions
These boundaries keep the price honest. If your job falls outside them, we tell you before you book—not once someone is in your home.
- No electrical, plumbing, gas, HVAC or appliance repair
- No active leaks, mould, structural movement or pest damage
- No roof work, exterior work above ground level or ladders over 10 feet
- No wall demolition, flooring, tile replacement or custom carpentry
- No single task expected to take more than two hours

The Fixed Home Promise
If our workmanship fails within 12 months, we come back and put it right at no charge. You deal with Fixed Home throughout — not with an individual technician on your own.

Your agreement is with Fixed Home. If something needs fixing you contact us, not the individual who did the work, and we arrange the return visit.

Experience, identity, references and insurance checked, then held to our scope, documentation and finish standard on every job.
- We decline work we cannot do well
If your photos show a job outside our fixed-price scope we say so and step away, rather than starting something we cannot finish properly.

Answered before you book
What belongs on a Fix List?
Good examples include loose handles, sticking interior doors, cabinet adjustments, shelves or pictures to hang, small wall marks, weatherstripping and furniture anchoring. We confirm the exact list before the visit.
What if the technician finishes early?
The approved list is ordered before the visit. If time remains, the technician can move to another pre-approved eligible task; unreviewed trade work cannot be added at the door.
Why are photos required?
Photos replace the estimate visit. They confirm the scope so the technician arrives with the right materials and the published price still stands.
Who performs the work?
A vetted, insured Fixed Home technician working to our scope and finish standard. You deal with Fixed Home from booking through the workmanship guarantee.
What happens if the scope is different?
We contact you with the correct package before the appointment is confirmed. No scope changes are raised on the day.
